How it works
Get referrals, not applications.
- Access your Hedgy company dashboard.
- Customize your company profile so Hedgy members can quickly learn about your team and mission. Members use this info to decide if your company is a good match for them.
- Review members.
- Request members for a specific role or browse your waitlist. Your waitlist shows members who’ve already expressed interest in your company and want to talk. Ongoing warm leads give you a head start on future roles.
- Get warm introductions.
- We monitor your waitlist and our member database, suggesting members who are a good fit for your roles. When there's a match you like, a Hedgy founder will personally introduce you.
What companies are saying
“Hedgy members are in the top 5% of individuals we interview. I’m always excited to get on a call with a Hedgy member because I know it’ll be a quality conversation.”
“Every Hedgy referral has been outstanding – the kind of talent you’d typically spend months searching for. It’s clear that they put great care into curating their member community.”
Recruit differently
Exclusive talent. Upfront insights.
- ●Pre-vetted individuals
- Every member has either been personally invited by the Hedgy founders or nominated by another member. Think of this as flipping when the reference check happens: first, not last.
- ●Build your employer brand
- If you’re a growing startup, you’re probably still building your brand. Hedgy is a great way to meet individuals who otherwise wouldn’t have come across you.
- ●Upfront expectations
- Understand comp expectations from Hedgy members before opting-in to an intro. Both sides save time and avoid an awkward conversation.
- ●Get a head start on confidential hires
- Start chatting with individuals to calibrate on the ideal candidate. This is useful for roles that are confidential or where you want to talk to a few domain experts before crafting the job post.
Hire smarter, not harder
Frequently asked questions
What type of candidates will I find on Hedgy?
Hedgy runs on member recommendations. Each member has either been member-nominated as a top teammate or personally invited by the founders.
How much does Hedgy cost?
There are no upfront costs - reviewing members, requesting intros and interviewing candidates is free. If an introduction leads to a hire, the employer is responsible for a predetermined fee - this is typically <10% of the first year salary stated in the offer letter.
What if the hire doesn’t work out?
The fee will be refunded if the Hedgy member quits or is terminated within 90 days of their official start date.
What if we already know the candidate?
The fee will be waived if you have documentation that the Hedgy member already had a pre-existing relationship with the company (e.g. already applied to a role) within 90 days prior to the intro request date.
Vision
Hedgy is for doers.
Great teammates care deeply about their work and the people around them. They don’t worry about marketing themselves 24/7 because they’re obsessed (in a good way) with what they’re doing. This doesn’t always translate into polished promo packets or face-time with execs, but it’s ultimately what makes great products and successful companies. We built Hedgy to serve people who are genuinely trying to do their life’s work.
